Hoya Compacta
•A very unique Hoya variety, also commonly called a Hindu rope Hoya and originated in Australia and East Asia, it is also epiphytic meaning it likes to grow on trees.
•It is very drought-tolerant and only needs water when the top 2-3 inches are dry. It can go 4-5 weeks without water.
•Happiest in a well-draining soil mix high in organic matter. Our mixture is composed of fine coco coir, coco coir chunks, charcoal, coarse perlite, earthworm castings, fir bark, and more! We feed weekly with fish emulsion and use slow-release Nutricote granules once or twice in the summer.
•Thrives in bright, indirect light and will grow the fastest in higher humidity, best in 65-85°F and 40-60% humidity.
•This Hoya bloom is star shaped white and light pink flowers, Hoyas enjoy being relatively root bound for flowering.
