Alocasia Silver Dragon
- This beautiful Jewel Alocasia is native to Borneo, Indonesia. It stays fairly compact, averaging about 2 ft tall and wide.
- Happiest in a well-draining mix with lots of organic matter. Fertilize monthly or as directed in the warmer months for larger leaves. I like to use Nutricote slow release, earthworm castings, and fish emulsion.
- Enjoys bright, indirect and likes the soil to stay moist in between waterings. Water when the top layer of soil is dry.
- Does best in 65-80°F temperatures, will grow fastest with higher humidity levels (50-80%) and cannot tolerate freezing temperatures, avoid cold drafts.
- Alocasia multiply by bulbs in the ground and sprout to make new plants.
